1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect & Legal Basis
We collect only what is necessary to provide the app:
- Account data: Email and display name (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Game data: Match statistics and performance metrics (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Device & diagnostic data: Crash and error reports via Sentry, to help us find and fix bugs (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest)
- Usage & Ads: Anonymous analytics and AdMob identifiers for free-tier advertising (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — Consent)
3. Data Storage & International Transfers
Data is stored via Firebase (Google LLC), which may use servers in the EEA or US. Google complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. See firebase.google.com/support/privacy. RevenueCat and Sentry may also use servers outside the EEA (e.g. in the US); where this is the case, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an EU adequacy decision as the transfer safeguard.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the following processors or advertising partners, each acting under their own data protection terms and, where applicable, bound by data processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR: Firebase / Google LLC (account storage, authentication, and real-time match sync — including Google Sign-In), Apple Inc. (Sign in with Apple, where used), RevenueCat (purchase and subscription management), Sentry (crash and error reporting, to help us fix bugs — no advertising use), and for free-tier advertising: Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, and Unity Ads (each using device advertising identifiers to serve and target ads, EU/EEA users only with consent).
5. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Complaints may be filed with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at) or, if you live in another EU/EEA country, with your own country's supervisory authority. Email [email protected] to exercise your rights.
6. Data Retention
Data is retained while your account is active. On account deletion, personal data is removed within 30 days.
7. Consent Revocation for Advertisements
EU/EEA users can revoke or manage their advertising consent (for Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, and Unity Ads) at any time in the OKKI app settings, or by resetting their device advertising identifier in iOS or Android system settings.
8. Children's Privacy
OKKI is a general-audience app about darts training and isn't specifically directed at or marketed to children. Our app store listings don't restrict it to an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll delete it. EU/EEA users must meet the digital age of consent set by their own country's law (typically 13–16) to give valid consent to optional features such as ad personalisation; where that consent isn't given, no personalised ads are shown.
9. Data Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a personal data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Austrian Data Protection Authority within 72 hours as required by Art. 33 GDPR, and will notify affected users directly where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to them, as required by Art. 34 GDPR.

1. Acceptance & Licence
By downloading or using OKKI, you agree to these Terms. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use OKKI on your personal device for non-commercial purposes. Additional terms from the Apple App Store or Google Play may also apply — see Section 2.
2. Apple App Store Additional Terms
If you obtained OKKI through the Apple App Store, the following additionally applies: this licence is limited to use on an Apple-branded device that you own or control. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price for the App, if any, to the extent permitted by law — Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the App. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for addressing any claims relating to product liability, consumer protection, or similar laws in connection with the App. In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for the investigation, defense, and discharge of any such claim. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
3. Prohibited Use
- Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code.
- Using the app for illegal purposes or to circumvent in-app purchase verification.
- Automated data collection (scraping) from the app or its backend.
4. Use of Statistics & Ranking Data
Statistics, rankings, match data, and other content made available through the App ("Data") are intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use. Without our prior written consent, you may not systematically extract or collect Data (e.g. via scraping, bots, or automated queries), reproduce or distribute Data to third parties, or use Data to develop or improve a competing product — including coaching, analysis, or training services.
5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions
OKKI offers an optional Pro subscription (annual at €12.99/year (based on Austria prices)) and a one-time lifetime purchase (€29.99), as well as a one-time No Ads purchase (€2.99). All purchases are processed via the Apple App Store or Google Play. The price displayed is the price at the time of purchase as shown in the App Store or Google Play — final price may vary by country due to applicable taxes. Annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. The one-time lifetime purchase grants access to Pro features for as long as OKKI Darts is offered and supported by us — "lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the app, not a guarantee of perpetual service. If we ever discontinue OKKI Darts, no pro-rata refund will be owed beyond what is required by applicable law.
6. Cloud Synchronisation & Data Backups
Cloud backup is available to Pro users as a single-device backup solution. Simultaneous use of one account across multiple devices is not supported. Writing from multiple devices will result in the latest upload overwriting previous data. OKKI is not liable for data loss arising from multi-device conflicts.
7. Updates
OKKI periodically releases updates that fix bugs or improve functionality. Available updates are notified to you via the App Store or Google Play; installing them is your responsibility. An update may introduce additional or different terms; where it does, we will notify you in advance, and continued use after installing the update constitutes acceptance of those terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
OKKI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app or service interruptions.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Austrian law. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Austria.

11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of OKKI after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to OKKI, in whole or in part, if you breach these Terms, including the Prohibited Use provisions in Section 3 or the Fair Play provisions in Section 14. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you of the reason. Sections concerning liability, governing law, and payments already made will survive termination.
13. Coaching & Analysis Disclaimer
Pete's post-match analysis, insights, and training recommendations are generated automatically from your in-app statistics and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional coaching, medical, or fitness advice, and we do not guarantee any specific improvement in your performance.
14. Fair Play in Online Multiplayer & League
In Online Battles and League Mode, you may not: create multiple accounts to gain an unfair ranking advantage; use bots or automation to manipulate matches or statistics; or engage in abusive or harassing behaviour toward other users. Violations may result in action under Section 12 (Suspension & Termination).
15. Minimum Age & Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an OKKI account, or have the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian if your local law permits a lower age with such consent. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
16. Intellectual Property
The OKKI name, logo, app design, and all associated content (excluding your own match data) are the property of Clemens Kaltenecker or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them without prior written permission. "Apple", "App Store", and "Google Play" are trademarks of their respective owners.
17. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including outages of third-party services we rely on (such as Firebase, the App Store, or Google Play).
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement & No Waiver
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding OKKI. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision.
20. Assignment
We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms to a company that acquires the underlying business or the rights to OKKI.
21. Refunds
Because all purchases are processed by Apple or Google, refund requests must be submitted through the App Store or Google Play respectively. We are unable to issue refunds directly.
22. Your Consumer Rights Remain Unaffected
If you are a consumer resident in the EU, the governing-law clause in Section 9 does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of your country of residence.
